Week four and five - Skills training and way forward
We moved to the skills training part of the program as we co-learned accompaniment and discernment. These are essential skills for the formators to have in the implementation the holistic model of formation. Clare Nolan, our resource person drew out our own ideas on the meaning and goals of accompaniment. We saw accompaniment as a journeying with, supporting a person in her growth process towards integration and wholeness.

The story of formation at the heart of Good Shepherd mission continues to unfold as we developed new consciousness and deepened our understanding of our life and formation during the second week. We started with the reflection on the goal of formation and the task of the formator in the context of today’s rapidly changing world.
Week one: 2015 Formators' Session in the Philippines
The 2015 Formators’ Session in Maryridge, Tagaytay City, Philippines started on 26 August 2015 with an opening ritual where the participants from ten units of Asia Pacific and RIMOA, namely South West India, East Asia, Central East India-Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka-Pakistan, North East Asia, Indonesia, Singapore-Malaysia, Kenya, and the Isles entered the sacred space with soil and lighted candles from their countries.
2015 Formators Session In Asia - Phillipines
The Asia-Pacific Formation Core Team is organizing another Formators’ Session to be held in Maryridge, Tagaytay City, Philippines from 26th August to 30th September 2015. This is in line with the Core Team’s task of continuing the co-learning and networking to further develop the holistic model.
